Returns and refunds
We hope you are happy with your Taubon order. If something is not right, this page explains how returns, complaints and refunds work. Nothing on this page limits the rights you have under Danish and EU consumer law — where the law gives you more, the law applies.
Return an unwanted item
Changed your mind? Start a withdrawal — no reason needed.
Report a damaged, defective or incorrect item
Something arrived broken, faulty or not what you ordered? We will make it right.
Already sent a request? Check the status of your return.
How to register a return
Contact us at orders@taubon.com with your order number, the email address used on the order, the items you want to return, and whether this is a withdrawal (unwanted item) or a damaged, defective or incorrect item. For damaged items, please attach photos. Please wait for our return instructions before sending the parcel.
You can also use our online return form or the model withdrawal form below — a clear email statement is always sufficient.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To meet the deadline it is enough to notify us before the 14 days have passed; you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us.
You can notify us by email to orders@taubon.com, by using the model withdrawal form, or through our online return form.
Condition of returned goods
You may inspect the product as you would in a shop. Please return goods complete and securely packaged, with all accessories, and with labels attached and in the original packaging where reasonably possible.
Please retain and use the original packaging and keep labels attached where reasonably possible, as this helps protect the product during return transport. Missing or damaged packaging does not automatically remove your statutory rights, but the customer may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.
Return shipping costs for an unwanted item
When you withdraw from a purchase, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods, except when:
- Taubon has agreed to pay for the return;
- the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming;
- Taubon failed to inform you before your purchase that you bear the cost of return; or
- the law requires Taubon to pay.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, turns out to be defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, the email used on the order, a description of the problem, and photos or video where reasonable.
You have the remedies provided by consumer law: a replacement, a repair where relevant, a price reduction, or a refund — with the return paid by Taubon. Taubon pays the return shipping for valid complaints, and returning the item in its original packaging is not a condition for exercising these rights. These rights are not limited to the 14-day withdrawal period.
Refunds
We issue refunds within the legally required period. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever comes first. Refunds go to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise with you.
When you withdraw from your whole order, the standard outbound delivery cost is reimbursed as required by law; premium delivery upgrades beyond our standard option are not automatically refunded. For partial returns, the outbound shipping cost is not refunded when you keep part of the order, unless the law requires otherwise.
Exchanges
We currently process returns and new purchases separately. If you would like another size, colour or product, please return the original item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
Sale and seasonal items
Items purchased during a sale are generally subject to the same statutory withdrawal rights as regularly priced items, unless a specific legal exception applies.
Exceptions
Under applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to certain products — for example personalised or made-to-order goods, rapidly perishable goods, and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Any exception applies only where the specific product genuinely qualifies; any such exception is stated on the product page before purchase. An exception to the right of withdrawal never affects your rights in respect of defective goods.
Return address
Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions. You will receive the return address together with our return instructions by email.
